On Friday, the inaugural NT Awards for cinematography will take place in Darwin at the Darwin Entertainment Centre. Samuel has two pieces in the awards - Cliff rescue - an ABC 7PM News piece and the music video Hypocrite for local hip hop artist Dan the Underdog.

Samuel won a silver award in the Syd Wood ACS Local/National News category for “Cliff rescue” and a Bronze award in the Music Videos category for “Hypocrite.”
